Nose

The complex elegant nose of red fruits and a palate of ripe red berries and raspberries, with hints of black pepper and spice.

Palate

The Wine is carefully balanced with silky tannins and balanced French and American oak integration, giving the palate structure and great length.

Growing Conditions

A classic cool climate Shiraz from Frankland River. Fruit was sourced from our Vineyard in the Frankland River region of Western Australia. The region's cool climate and ancient gravel soils produces shiraz with intense mixed berry flavours and soft tannins.

Winemaking

Fruit from individual vineyard batches were fermented for 14 days on skins and pumped over every 6 hours to optimise flavours, colour, and tannin profile in the wine. Batches were then racked to French and American oak to undertake malolactic fermentation and ageing. Individual batches were barrel aged for 16 months, and then blended prior to bottling.
