Aromas of red berry spice and hints of Vanilla show up on the nose giving way to a palate of blackcurrants and chocolate mocha.
The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes to make this blend were selected from the 3 oceans vineyards in Frankland River and Margaret River bringing together two of Western Australia's Premier wine growing regions to produce The Estates Cabernet Merlot . The Wine has a great length and a soft tannin finish.
The Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot batches was fermented individually over 12 days and pumped over every 10 hours to extract the colour, aroma, flavours and soft tannin profile this wine shows. After fermentation the wine was transferred to small French oak barriques to complete malo lactic fermentation and maturation over 12 months.
