Nose

Highly perfumed and lifted. Plums, currant
and subtle anise lift.

Palate

Juicy and vibrant. Plush and dense. A
wine of suppleness and generosity.

Winemaking

All components were picked separately and undertook
fermentation in open top fermenters. The wines were then
allowed to ferment in French oak, with a mixture of new (15%)
and older barrels. After 14 months in oak they were then
blended from oak via a careful barrel selection and many
“bench trial” blends to ensure we captured the style off wine we
wanted. Minimal fining occurred before being nursed into bottle.

Aging

8-10 years.

Appearance

Crimson hues and a garnet edge.
