Harvest

The Estate grown fruit for this wine was harvested between the 11th
and 25th March 2014 from a combination Lyre trellis, spur and cane
pruned vines.

Winemaking

The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed to upright static fermenters to cold soak for
colour and flavor extraction. On completion of ferment, the wine was
put through MLF and approximately one third of the wine was left on
skins for extended maceration to add structure to the wine. Following
eighteen months maturation in French oak (50% new) the wine was
blended, lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.

Aging

25+
years.

Appearance

Deep purple red.
