Nose
The Shiraz that comes off the top block is a deep purple with a strong perfume of allspice, red berries, marzipan, hints of white pepper, liquorice and vanilla.
Palate
A silky smooth palate for a wine so young, the tannins and oak are seamless and the finish is endless.
Growing Conditions
Black sandy loam over limestone with a high ph.
Harvest
Hand-picked.
Winemaking
Basket pressed with secondary ferment in barrel for 24 month. 15% American Oak and 85% French Oak used with the oak component being 35% new with 1 and 2 year oak barriques.
Aging
Drink by 2022.
