Nose
with a nose of plum jam, sugar coated almonds, dark chocolate, curry leaf and toasty spicy vanilla oak. The dark red fruits drive the wine with red currents, cherries and raspberries. It wouldn’t be Shiraz without the spice characters and tiny hints of curry leaf, star anise and aniseed.
Palate
The chalky tannins give you something to chomp on. Drink now or over the next 10 years.

basket pressed with secondary ferment in barrel for 24 months – 15% American Oak and 85% French Oak. The oak component is 35% new with 1 and 2 year oak barriques. Minimal intervention when bottled.
