Nose

A really complex bouquet with classic Margaret River pineapple, soft yellow peaches, nectarine and toasty, nutty notes.

Palate

A generous well-structured palate; lovely creamy texture, framed by bright acidity with fruit richness in the middle. Attractive citrus and tropical fruits work in harmony with the subtle oak infusion. A delightful lingering finish.

Winemaking

Made entirely from the low yielding Gingin clone, Margaret River’s ‘hero’ clone. The clone is responsible for low yields and high skin to juice ratio in the grapes which results in wines with great depth and concentration of flavours. The wine underwent partial barrel fermentation in French oak and was kept on lees for 9 months, for added textural complexity.
