Nose

Classical Margaret River Cabernet. Concentrated cassis, violets and
sandalwood with lifted aromas of dried herbs.

Palate

Beautifully bright fruit weight and supple texture. Supple black cherry
and blood currant flavours are coated in silky, integrated tannins.

Growing Conditions

Good winter rainfall provided a great start to the
growing season followed by a warm spring with very little rain. Despite
intermittent showers in January, the vintage allowed the Cabernet grapes to
ripen evenly with a relatively early picking date. Overall, Cabernets showed
fully ripe tannins, perfumed fruit and a bright natural acidity.

Harvest

March 2016.

Winemaking

This wine was 100% matured in a mixture of new and old
French Oak barriques for 16 months.

Appearance

Deep ruby hues.
