Our name 'House of Cards' was inspired by the gamble winemakers and growers take every vintage- you have to play the hand that you are dealt. All fruit used to make House of Cards wine comes from our ACO certified organic single vineyard situated on the iconic Caves Road at the northern end of the Margaret River Region in Western Australia. Making handcrafted wines of exceptional quality is the sole priority of House of Cards.

Howard Park is a pioneering family-owned winery specialising in the premier regions of Margaret River and the Great Southern - with an enduring passion and commitment to quality, and a love for crafting wines that are expressive of their terroir. Since 1986, the viticultural team has grown an intimate, exhaustive knowledge of vineyards in these areas, culminating in the careful acquisition and development of four properties: Leston and Allingham in Margaret River, and Mount Barrow and Abercrombie in the Great Southern. Each site has a unique focus and personality, but the overarching theme is control – tailoring each rootling or bud to suit, and keeping the fruit, the handling, and the expertise in-house. Set on 138 hectares of vines and native bushland, less than 5 minutes from the town of Cowaramup, Leston is now home to all winery operations, including the architecturally-acclaimed cellar door where we welcome visitors and offer tastings of interest and depth that embrace Howard Park’s heritage and provenance: the vision of one family, two generations, two wine regions and four vineyards. Positioned on the highest point of our Leston vineyard, the award-winning structure adheres to Feng Shui design and orientation principles, with a careful balance of natural materials, including native timber, concrete and steel. In its design, the Burch family wanted to create a modern building designed to grow old – a concept synonymous with crafting age-worthy wines. It is also home to Howard Park’s original rootling nursery, used by the viticultural team to diversify clones and varieties for future plantings, and to propagate from tried and true vine stock. The nursery currently produces up to 40,000 rootlings per year and is planted with Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir clones from Burgundy.

Passel Estate is a very small, family-owned vineyard in the heart of Margaret River, renowned for its award-winning single vineyard wines and commitment to sustainable winegrowing and nature conservation. It is a place of Provenance, Discovery and Sanctuary. The wines are a unique expression of the special place that is Passel Estate, defined by their perfumed fruit character, structure and balance. Passel Estate wines are a rare discovery; volumes made are small, given the quality-driven low yields and single vineyard focus. Passel Estate’s range includes the very limited release Lot 71 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Lot 71 Reserve Syrah, made from select parcels of hand harvested fruit, with extended barrel maturation in the finest French oak. Approximately 10ha of native bushland on the property is reserved for conservation. With the vineyard so close to native bush, it is necessary to net the vines (after veraison and through to harvest) so as to protect fruit from bird damage, as well as hungry kangaroos. The name Passel Estate pays tribute to a family (or Passel) of endangered Western Ringtail Possums that was relocated to the property’s bushland sanctuary after being badly burned in the 2011 Margaret River bushfires. The owners continue to support and provide sanctuary to rare and threatened native fauna, which (in addition to the Western Ringtail Possum) includes Quendas, Phascogales and White and Red Tailed Black Cockatoos, and visitors can book a guided Nature & Wine Walk through the pristine bushland reserve adjacent to the Tasting Room. Passel Estate is a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.
Welcome to UMAMU Estate. We create exquisite, handcrafted Australian wine from the Margaret River wine region. Each bottle is deliberately and meticulously created – from the delicate balance tasted within each glass, to the touches of family handwriting and messages on our labels. Our philosophy has always been to give our Margaret River wine time to develop age in the bottle before release, a rarity in today’s online wine market. Enjoying wines when they are ready to drink – rather than straight after bottling – is the reason our Margaret River wines have developed bags of character.

Established in 1978, Voyager Estate is a second-generation family-owned estate in Stevens Valley, Margaret River, Western Australia. Our ultimate ambition couldn’t be simpler – to craft wines that do justice to our extraordinary climate and soils through some of the most pure, elegant, and balanced Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons in the world. Commencing in 2023, both our winery and vineyard proudly bear full organic certification. Our journey towards this achievement commenced in 2017, with the inaugural harvest of certified organic grapes in 2020. Through our continued focus on sustainability, craft, and innovation, we aim to shine a light on Margaret River – one of the world’s great wine regions – and our special place in it.
