Nose
An attractive aroma of ripe cherry, cherry cola, blueberry, purple jubes and Ribena with slight forest floor, dried herb and plum skin.
Palate
A medium bodied wine with rich red fruits, black cherry, raspberry and green plum flavours with hints of mulberry, coffee and olive. The palate is soft with fine velvety tannin and a persistent cherry aftertaste.
Growing Conditions
A great vintage for Grenache in Southern Margaret River with moderate temperatures throughout ripening.
Winemaking
A combination of older French oak puncheons and barriques.
