Nose
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, with aromas of plums, mulberries, spice and liquorice.
Palate
Fresh sweet fruit on the front palate and a juicy mid palate. The wine has balanced freshness and mild, soft tannins.

Winemaking
Cabernet crushed to open fermenters, fermentation with cultured yeast, 12 days on skins post fermentation, 12 months barrel maturation in new (15%) and older French oak barriques, MLF completed in barrel. Shiraz crushed to open fermenters, with 15% whole bunches, fermentation with cultured yeast, MLF completed in tank, pressed to barrel after 1 week on skins post fermentation, 12 months barrel maturation in new (15%) and older French oak barriques. Blended in early January 2018.
Aging
5 to 6 years.
