Nose

A medium to full bodied wine with lifted aromatics of mulberries, plums, spice and chocolate, plus some subtle charry notes from the oak.

Palate

The flavours are focussed and intense, with generosity of fruit and a strong fine-grained tannin structure.

Winemaking

Crushed to open fermenters, with 15% whole bunches. 20% of the wine completed fermentation in barrel before being returned to tank for MLF. Aged in French oak, 30% new, for 15 months.

Aging

Up to 10 years.
