Nose
Lifted and fresh with fresh primary fruit but complex spicy perfumes.
Palate
Medium bodied, with fine layers of fresh tannins and ripe and bright aromatic Malbec fruit. Spicy flavours with some depth that challenge and complement our Taphouse offerings.
Growing Conditions
Another very good year in Margaret River, producing red wines that are soft fleshy and expressive.
Winemaking
We employed small batch winemaking, selecting multiple parcels that were fermented separated and cap plunged twice daily. After gentle pressing the wine was transferred to stainless steel for malolactic fermentation. The wine has minimal maturation so to preserve the fresh primary fruit characters and tannins.
Appearance
Deep purple red with a dark cherry core.
Food Pairing
Char grilled meats.
