Aromas of bright cassis, blackberry, and black cherry are supported by liquorice, cigar box, and cocoa notes.
The palate is full and complex, with the fruit and savoury notes balanced with a seamless finish of supple tannins and integrated French oak.
This is a very small batch wine and was fermented as a small parcel with manual plunging. The wine was then pressed into French barriques, to finish primary and malolactic ferment. After maturation for a further 12 months the wine was bottled and left for a period to gain complexity with bottle age.
