Growing Conditions
A cool Spring leading up to a warm Summer period.
Rainfall occurred in March resulting in slower
ripening conditions. Prior to vintage there wasn’t a
period of hot days, instead the cool mornings and
warm days resulted in an excellent vintage for reds.
Aging
5 to 8 years.
Food Pairing
Peppered steak with creamy mushroom sauce or
slow-cooked venison with juniper berry and shiraz
jus.
