The wine smells of Rocket’s Vineyard Chenin; lemon pith, nashi pear and beeswax with a lick of flint.


The palate is lively with a briny spine, great clarity and stacks of flavour.

Growing Conditions

Our fifth release of Rocket’s Vineyard Chenin Blanc! We made a cool wine, from one of the hottest and driest vintages, from one of Australia’s hottest wine regions. Combine this with being dry grown, it gives us confidence our little region has a few more miles under the bonnet for the bumpy road ahead of climate change.


Our organically farmed grapes were harvested by hand and whole bunch pressed. The juice was fermented with indigenous yeasts in a stainless-steel tank and seasoned French oak barriques. The wine was then left on its yeast lees through winter and then bottled just in time for spring.
