Nose
Lovely, perfumed aromas of boysenberry, violets and blueberries. Complexing notes of bramble, liquorice, saltbush, red earth, cocoa and coffee grinds.
Palate
Cool, lithe and elegant Cabernet notes of boysenberry, blackcurrant and alpine herbs are complemented by the depth and flesh of Shiraz, blue fruits and red flowers. Medium weighted, this wine has a freshness and lightness of foot with complexing notes of salted liquorice, chocolate and cedary spice. A succulence of acid refreshes the palate and cool, graphite like tannins slide from start to finish.
Growing Conditions
A cooler vintage, but a warm & dry period in March-April provided perfect conditions for red grape ripening.

Can be drunk now or cellared for up to 12 years.
Appearance
Vibrant red with black and purple hues.

Five-spice roasted duck with soy glaze.
