Handpicked Wines

We are a family-owned Australian winery. Driven by a passion to make great wines, we do not limit ourselves to one region or style. Instead, we 'hand pick' from the world's best regions to make premium wine with a supreme sense of place.

Our home base is Australia, where we make wine in some of our favorite places; including the Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Tasmania, Margaret River, the Barossa Valley, as well as in Central Otago and Marlborough in New Zealand. The list of the world’s great wine regions keeps growing and at Handpicked we’ve chosen key locations to create regionally expressive and site-specific wines.

Capella Vineyard, on the Mornington Peninsula, was the first vineyard purchased, in 2013. It remains Handpicked’s spiritual home and where our winemakers are based. We now own six vineyards in Mornington, Yarra Valley, Tasmania and Barossa Valley but we didn’t stop there; to find the best wine regions around the world, we have partnered with exceptional growers in Australia and around the world and they have become part of the Handpicked family over the years.
