A fine and elegant style of sparkling wine produced from Montague Estate’s exceptional single-estate Chardonnay. A fresh bouquet of apple blossom, citrus, and grapefruit.
A palate that reveals a deliciously fine and precise bead, crunchy green apple, nashi pear and lemon zest with subtle hints of honeysuckle and wet gravel. A fine, pointed, mineral finish.
Fruit was picked on the 30th of January 2020
Whole bunch pressed Primary fermentation took place largely in second use French oak. Secondary fermentation took place in bottle in accordance with the traditional Champagne method.
Matured on lees in barrel for 7 ½ months before being tiraged in October 2020.
