Palate

A modern style of Australian Chardonnay that delivers
generous stone fruit, fig and subtle citrus flavours supported
by balanced, toasty oak.

Growing Conditions

In 1858 Adam and Katharina Roth established a beautiful vine
growing property at Eurunderee, just north of Mudgee in
the high altitude Central Ranges of New South Wales. It was
then known as Rothview – now Craigmoor, the region’s oldest
standing winery. Roth was one of a number of German ‘vine
dressers’ brought to Australia by William Macarthur as skilled
labour for his vineyard at Camden near Sydney, the first winery
in the country. Circa 1858 celebrates over 150 years of Australian
winemaking tradition with a refreshing take on our most popular
styles.

Food Pairing

Ideal match for many chicken, pork or
flavoursome seafood dishes.
