There’s no more highly awarded wine in our range than our Perseverance Cabernet Merlot.  Our latest vintage release, our 2019, has received a Gold Medal at the 2022 Decanter World Wine Awards. At the 2018 Decanter World Wine Awards the 2014 vintage received a ‘Best in Show’ award and this exceptional wine has received many accolades from wine critics for previous vintages and continues to receive great praise each year.

Established in 1995 by the Bailey Family, Brown Hill Estate takes its name from the famed Brown Hill gold mine in Kalgoorlie where the Bailey family resided for four generations. Jim and Gwen, alongside their son Nathan and his wife Chiara completed their first harvest in 2000 and have been dedicated to producing premium quality wines ever since.


The Vineyard is situated ten minutes outside of Margaret river and comprises seven varieties across 28 hectares of vines. The low yielding vines, coupled with a traditional winemaking approach produces wines that are a true representation of the unique site and climate. 


Brown Hill is a single site vineyard, all grapes are hand picked and sorted ensuring only the best make the cut, wines are aged in French Oak barrels for between 9 and 18 months before being bottled on-site and released to the public through the Cellar Door.


Staying true to their heritage, the Baileys are still pursuing gold through the merits of their wines. Some recent accolades include; Best in Show at Decanter World Wine Awards, Top ranking Chardonnay, Small Producer of the year and many, many gold (medals)

This beautiful wine displays intensely concentrated fruit flavour as a result of the shiraz grapes being hand picked late in the season. The bouquet is raspberry jam with ripe plums and hints of cassis. A complex layered palate, packed with cherries, mulberries and blueberry notes, finishing with dense silky tannins

Enjoy the intricate aroma of ripe cherries that is well supported by black pepper and hints of dark chocolate. Then take in the sophisticated palate of plum and cherry flavours with extensive length and soft, velvety tannins.

A true Margaret River style, the Ivanhoe Cabernet Sauvignon shows off aromas of blueberries, sweet spice and cassis. A generous palate showcases black currants, mulberries, and liqourice with velvety tannins that drive the palate to a long fruitful length.

A great example of southern Margaret River Cabernet. Showcasing flavours of blueberries, sweet spice and cassis.



A medium bodied merlot that is both elegant and sumptuous, with a deep, dark ruby colour.  Layers of violet and dry spices on the nose, lead to a palate full of mulberry and blackberry with a great earthy finish. This wine will improve with cellaring for years to come.

White

A fine example of Margaret River Chardonnay, 100% barrel fermented by wild yeast allows for aromas of white peach, grapefruit and florals, leading to a well-balanced palate with layers of minerality, nectarines and roasted almonds. The oak is well integrated with slightly toasty notes on the palate. Best matched with seafood. 

With a bright palate showcasing notes of lychee, lemongrass, whites florals and a zesty acidity, this powerful wine will pair well with fresh Asain style cuisine.
