Nose

Pronounced, bright red fruit aromas of raspberry and cherry, with subtle floral notes.

Palate

Refreshing, lively and crisp fruit flavours of grapefruit and tangy citrus, gives a
delightful mouth feel of summer fruits. A touch of dryness perfectly balances the fresh fruitiness, leaving a lingering tasty finish.

Harvest

Estate grown red fruit is machine harvested in the coolness of the night using the selective
harvester. Merlot, the fruit which is picked before the remainder of the red varieties has a good
acidity and offers fresh summer, fruit like qualities. Also in the blend in the Viognier and
Verdelho which are picked at the perfect ripening time.

Bottling

The bottling of this wine is done early to expect a young wine at full freshness.

Winemaking

Verdelho, Viognier and Merlot, pressed straight away to retain freshness. All varieties were
picked and fermented separately to respect varietal characters and allow for greater flexibility at blending time. After fermentation, individual wines were blended and fined before filtration and bottling. The wine is kept fresh in the tank until bottling, when we will use only low levels of sulphur and no fining agents.

Appearance

Light, clear salmon.

This wine is a perfect match with grilled salmon and mildly spicy Asian-style salads.
