Nose
A beautifully aromatic wine with red summer fruits, strawberries, raspberries and cranberries
with a delicate floral lift.
Palate
Refreshing, lively and clean with the fruits tantalising the taste buds. The wine is well
balanced and refreshing, full flavoured with those summer fruits and a touch of sweetness on the
finish.
Growing Conditions
Estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz is machine harvested in the coolness of the
night using the selective harvester. The fruit which is picked before the remainder of the red varieties
has a good acidity and offers fresh summer fruit like qualities
Winemaking
Made in the traditional European way, the fruit is crushed and then in the tank we allow a few hours
of skin contact to extract just enough colour and those fresh fruit flavours. After which the wine is run
off and allowed to finish fermentation. The wine is kept fresh in the tank until bottling when we will
use only low levels of sulphur and no fining agents
