Growing Conditions

Churchview pride themselves on cultivating, crafting and cherishing the land, the grapes and
the wine. Since the beginning, Churchview has practiced and implemented organic farming
strategies, gaining their Certified Organic qualification in 2020. Churchview avoid the use of
toxic chemicals in order to maintain healthy soils, which in turn allows the vines to produce
pure, quality fruit. The purity of the fruit is expressed in the quality and flavour of the final
product.

Winemaking

The grapes are picked and destemmed in the vineyard before they are delivered to the winery
in pristine condition. A brief period of cold maceration saw this wine fermented in stainless
steel fermenters with a classic Rhone style yeast, giving the fruit its spicy and vibrant
characters. The wine was then placed into a selection of French and American barrels, adding
subtle oak sweetness and appeal. After maturation the wine was blended to tank, filtered,
and bottled. Minimal sulphites and interference produce this pure, organic wine.
