Nose

Vibrant red fruits lift eh aroma with cherries and raspberries, intermingled with spicy
oak undertones.

Palate

The red fruits transition beautifully to the palate creating a beautiful, soft, whole
mouth feel. The light tannin profile creates a silky feel with a lingering finish. The subtle spicy
notes add some complexity, leaving you wanting more.

Growing Conditions

Churchview pride themselves on being good stewards of the land and have hence gained their
organic certification for the vineyard in 2020. This means that all the grapes are grown
organically, without the use of toxic chemicals on the vines. These practices produce pure,
quality fruit and in principal, we believe it also produces pure, quality wine. 2020 was a warm
and dry year in which the Grenache ripened most beautifully.

Winemaking

Hand-picked and sorted fruit, the grapes are brought to the winery and are fermented on skins
for 10 days. The skins are then pressed off and the wine is transferred into older French oak
barrels for maturation. Cross-flow filtered and bottled onsite.

Appearance

Beautiful ruby red.
