Nose

Super aromatic with tropical fruits jumping out of the glass, passionfruit, papaya, and lemon curd.

Palate

The palate is full of vibrant fruit, yellow peach, honeydew melon and custard apple. A small portion of barrel fermentation has given a lovely creaminess to complement the juicy fruit and the racy natural acidity gives a long and fresh finish.

Growing Conditions

A wet winter and spring laid down great water reserves going into vintage 2022. A cool & wet spring meant a slow start with flowering and veraison tracking behind previous years, but the weather soon warmed up and ripening charged ahead. The cool start may have had contributed to reduced yields in the whites, however the warm, dry weather that came gave us great flavour concentration, particularly in the sauvignon blanc.

Harvest

The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night to retain the fresh, clean varietal characters of Sauvignon Blanc.

Bottling

The wine was then fined, filtered, and sent to bottle showcasing the perfectly crisp, clean aromas and flavours of a Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc. Vegan friendly.

Winemaking

The fruit was crushed and pressed, with the juice settled under cool conditions before being racked off the lees and fermented under temperature control to ensure the varietal Sauvignon Blanc characters are preserved. A small portion of juice was transferred to barrel for fermentation to add some complexity to the wine.
