Lifted aromas of blueberry compote and cassis, with a dried mint lift balanced with a sweet vanilla oak note.
Palate
Ripe Mulberry and blackberry complemented with notes of cedar and mocha. Finishing with a silky length of integrated tannins and subtle oak.
Harvest
Our 2020 vintage started two weeks early, this
was due to the warm summer season leading up to vintage and these conditions carried on through the ripening stages. Our Cabernet
sauvignon parcel are a combination of spur and cane pruning depending on sites, trained as VSP (vertical shoot positioning). For our Merlot parcel, we prefer cane pruning. Both varieties are picked when the fruit is ripe and most expressive, with a special attention given to the tannic structure of the cabernet.
