Nose
Lifted aromas of passionfruit, snow pea, honeydew melon and lemon citrus are complemented by aromas of dried herbs and fresh lemongrass.
Palate
The wine is crisp and clean with flavours of
tropical fruits balanced with a vibrant citrus lemon acidity with subtle hints. Subtle crisp varietal characters complement the intense fruit flavours leaving the palate fresh and clean.
Growing Conditions
We select parcels of fruit throughout the state, with a special focus on Margaret River and the Blackwood Valley which cooler climates provide the best aromatic white expression.
Harvest
2021 offered good conditions throughout Western Australia for this blend with moderate temperatures from late spring to full ripening. Even though some localized rains accelerated
the end of the picking period, all the fruit for this blend was safely tucked in the winery by mid-March.
The selected parcels were harvested in the cool of the night to retain freshness, and acidity.
Winemaking
The batches are then slowly fermented in stainless steel vessels at a cool temperature to preserve fruit aromas and freshness. After careful selection, the final blend is assembled and lightly fined before bottling.
Aging
Made to be enjoyed fresh and young, drink now!
Appearance
Pale straw with a green tinge.
Food Pairing
The perfect partner to seafood, spicy Asian
dishes and white meats.
