Very fine fruits with hints of cashew. Nice complexity from some French oak with a subtle background of vanillin. Wild yeast traits add to the overall impression of a well crafted wine.

Medium bodied, the wine has fine initial melon / yeast flavours that lead to a fruit-intense middle palate with fine oak overtones. The wine is very persistent and structured with a complex citrusy finish.

Our 2017 Chardonnay is our most elegant and age worthy wine have made under this label; the vintage was exceptionally cool and late ripening. We believe this wine to show exceptional finesse and length of flavour from the best Margaret River vintage in some time. Typical of the fine-fruited style we make, it has some great potential to evolve in the bottle.

Pale green and luminous.
