Nose

Spicy and aromatic, with hints of dried fruits and wild berries very prominent freshness.

Palate

Dry, medium bodied with very attractive spice flavours. Assertive tannins that finish the wine with authentic fresh- fruit derived flavours. Wild and honest.

Growing Conditions

Vintage 2017 for Margaret River was very cool and quite late. An interesting year for reds – vibrant colours and aromatic lift being a standout feature and most suited to this style that we have assembled.

Winemaking

Batches of each variety were selected in the vineyards especially for this project and fermented separately. Tasting of each component revealed the best composition with a predominance of Shiraz for fruit sweetness, and Tempranillo for spice and Malbec for colour and aromatic lift. Minimal oak time to preserve the positives.

Appearance

Very deep and vibrant purple.

Food Pairing

This wine is meant for grilled and roasted meats.
