Nose

Aromas of red fruits and spice - typical of the variety, are lifted and an immediately striking characteristic.

Palate

On the palate, spicy and savoury Nero d’Avola is balanced with some solid Shiraz fruit sweetness and depth.

Growing Conditions

The 2019 growing season was characterised by a moderate spring followed by a dry and warm summer. These conditions made for one of the earliest vintages in recent years. Fruit was in perfect condition and full flavoured.

Winemaking

Grapes were fermented and matured in steel at a controlled temperature, racked and matured until bottling.

Appearance

Vibrant ruby red, with some purple.
