Nose

Bright and lifted Sauvignon characters of fig, passionfruit, cut grass and a touch of wild
herbs fills the nose.

Palate

An intensely flvaoured palate with juicy acidity. Passionfruit, fig and melon drive the palate
which is vibrant, refreshing and long.

Growing Conditions

A prolonged cool and wet growing season meant the vines were lush and healthy heading into ripening.
This resulted in later harvest dates, accentuated by ripening through the wettest and coolest February
and March in Margaret River for more than 15 years. These conditions produced highly aromatic whites,
which were balanced by an extremely dry April that allowed the last of the white varieties to achieve full
ripeness.

Winemaking

Produced from vineyards across the region, our Sauvignon Blanc is unique in that it captures the array
of fruit characters from across Margaret River. All the fruit was picked in the cool of the night to retain
freshness and aromatic intensity. Following gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation, the
wine was blended and filtered only once. This minimal handling has helped to retain the attractive primary
fruit flavours and aromas so critical to our style.

Appearance

Very pale with a bright green tint.
