Nose
Intensely lifted aromatics of freshly crushed strawberries and red cherries with a note of
rose petal adding a lovely layer.
Palate
Long, fresh and flavoursome – red berry fruits immediately fill the mouth with a
refreshing finish of impressive length.
Growing Conditions
The cold fruit was harvested in the middle of the night once the ideal flavour and acid balance was
achieved. The fruit was loaded straight into the press and the juice gently separated from the skins. The
pink juice was then allowed to cold settle for a few days with the clear juice then being racked to a
separate tank for a cool fermentation. The wine was then stabilised and filtered only once prior to an early
bottling to capture this freshness and vibrancy
Winemaking
This is the third vintage of Strawberry Fields Rosé, again sourcing Shiraz from two distinct Margaret River
vineyards, both located in the north of the region and selected for their ability to ripen Shiraz early whilst
achieving soft, ripe tannins. This is critical to making our balanced, flavorsome, vibrant style of rosé‚ with
perfumed aromatics reminiscent of walking through a field of strawberries.
Appearance
Vibrant pink tending to ruby red.
Food Pairing
Thai-style curries, or summer barbeques.
