Intense & textural, with melon, pear, lemon & salted butter flavours. A saline thread of natural acidity winds through to a long, savoury, & refreshing finishWinemaking

Growing Conditions

An outstanding vintage. The season commenced with a wet start to June when rainfall was 30% above average. From this point onwards the months dried to below average rainfall & maximum temperatures crept up above the long-term averages. Lower yields, but very high quality

Bottling

The wine was bottled on 19th October 2020

Winemaking

The fruit was fermented on skins for two days, prior to pressing, & continued fermentation in one to four year-old French barriques.

Aging

six months on lees in old barriques, during which time It was stirred to enhance texture.
