Nose
Very strong aromas of Christmas pudding and violet, typical of Malbec. A lovely vanillin toasty oak is evident but not overpowering.
Palate
Rich and full bodied with lovely red and black fruit flavours, velvety mouth fill finishing with soft elegant fine tannins and long persistent length.
Winemaking
Grapes are picked as cold as possible and gently crushed. Fermentation is carried out in small temperature controlled stainless steel open fermenters.
Maceration lasts for 8 to 10 days. This is followed by malo-lactic fermentation and once completed, by oak maturation, in a mix of French and American oak classic barriques.
Appearance
Very intense purple, almost black.
Food Pairing
Excellent accompaniment to casserole beef or lamb and pork meet.o fully enjoy the smoothness and flavors, let this wine breathe for at least 30 minutes before drinking - better if decanter is used.
Serve at 18° - 20°C.
