Nose
Cracked pepper, lifted red berries aroma with a hint of rhubarb and liquorice.
Palate
Medium body with soft fine tannins. Good blend of red berry fruit flavours with vanilla and liquorice, excellent length
Winemaking
Grapes are picked as cold as possible and gently crushed. Fermentation is carried out in small temperature controlled stainless steel open fermenters. Maceration lasts for about 10 days.
This is followed by malo-lactic fermentation and once completed, by oak maturation, in French and American oak classic barriques.
Appearance
Deep blackcurrant red.

Excellent accompaniment to grilled beef, roast lamb and venison.To fully enjoy the smoothness and flavors, let this wine breathe for at least 30 minutes before drinking—better if decanter is used.Serve at 18° - 20°C.
