Nose
Intense lemon, pink grapefruit and subtle almond oak bouquet promises a wine
of concentrated opulence and restrained power.
Palate
Very elegant, unctuous, multilayered and tightly focussed. Flavours are
true to the aroma with an intense lemon, white nectarine and cashew like intensity.
Very persistent and refreshingly vibrant.
Growing Conditions
Margaret River had consistent winter and above average
rainfall in spring which combined with a very dry summer producing small
Chardonnay bunches of intense flavour concentration and brilliant acid structure.
When picked at the right time, Chardonnay produced exceptional wines of
precision and freshness.
Harvest
March 2015.
Winemaking
This wine was 100% fermented and matured in one-year-old
seasoned French oak barriques. Wine was stirred on lees for 10 months before it
was bottled.
