Nose

Aromas of grapefruit, red delicious apples and white stone
fruits are complimented by subtle spice and nut
characters. A powerfully complex wine that is supported
by well integrated oak.

Palate

The depth of fruit on the palate shows orange blossom,
pear and lime with beautifully balanced natural acid. A
powerfully reserved wine that will benefit, but not
necessarily demand decanting.

Growing Conditions

A long mild summer relieved cool spring weather conditions. There is
no doubt that 2009 was one of the best vintages seen for many years.
The cool summer days with warm dry autumn conditions allowed full
development of flavours without compromising natural acidity.
