Nose
A youthful aura of restraint and elegance. White
nectarine and fresh lemon bounce from the glass
with wet slate and oyster shell adding to the
complexity.
Palate
In true Grand Cru style this wine evolves in the
glass. Immediately apparent are the youthful fruit
flavours, balanced by wonderful natural acidity and
fine phenolics giving structure to the wine that will
ensure many years of enjoyment.
Growing Conditions
It was an early start to the vintage. Winter rains
were about average. An unusually dry hot December
and January followed; with only a few intermittent
showers in late January. This led to a promising start
to the vintage. Whites were off early, picked in the
cool crisp dawns resulting in some wonderful fresh
and vibrant wines.

Winemaking
This wine was 100% fermented and matured in 1
