Pure Margaret River Cabernet – ripe redcurrant with a touch of cassis and mulberry overlaid by leafy, violet aromas and dusty notes of cedar and savoury roasted spices.

The darker Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon characters are evident in this wine from the exceptional 2013 vintage; fresh black and red berry fruits with lovely violet perfume and hints of cedar.

Ripe plum, fresh redcurrant with a touch of dried herb fills the nose. The palate shows wonderful length and purity of flavour with a subtle tannin puckering grip on the finish.

Bold redcurrant and cranberry notes with a touch of dried herbs. Plum, blackberry and black olive flavours drive the wine with a lovely soft and fleshy structure.

Aromas of mulberry, licorice and black olive tapenade precede the mid-weight palate of black pepper and dark plum, held by fine-grained powdery tannins. Dense vivid fruit indicates significant ageing potential for this clean, robust, earthy drop.

The term Broadway comes from the name given by our winemakers to the popular stretch of Caves Road along which our Chardonnay vineyards are dotted. These strategically located vineyard locations capture the array of northern, southern and central flavours and characters of the Chardonnay varietal to make a style that truly captures the essence of Chardonnay from Margaret River.

This award-winning wine has numerous gold medals and a trophy at the 2021 Margaret River Wine Show for Best Cabernet Blend, and it’s easy to see why. Subtle oak integration adds lovely spice to a palate of blueberry and menthol, with violet perfumes. Soft and balanced, this no-fuss Cabernet is really smooth, very approachable and already quite elegant.

The fruit for the 2018 Evans & Tate Redbrook Estate Chardonnay was hand-picked from select sites, when flavours peaked in each block on the family-run estate. The end result is an ultra-premium wine that is pure Margaret River at its best: precise, delicate and detailed, with a refined, focused fruit spectrum, impeccable balance and blissful acidity rare at this price. Fine-grained French oak contribution ensures this top-flight Chardonnay is expressive and pure in youth and evolves in complexity and flavour over the next 5–7 years.

Grapes for the 2018 Evans & Tate Broadway Cabernet Sauvignon were hand-picked from our family-run vineyards that showed ideal varietal flavours, pressed straight into barrel, with cloudy juice added to achieve a perfect textural body. The lovely perfumed lift is reminiscent of ultra-premium Margaret River Cabernet, as is the natural mid-palate acidity, while the flavour is oak driven, holding a lively upfront profile of blackberry, olive and cherry ripe through to a dense balanced finish with great length. Bravo.

Hailing from the family-run Bridgelands vineyard in Karridale, just south of Margaret River, this wine represents exceptional value in a standout vintage: clean, fresh and pure, delicate complex citrus notes followed by wonderful toasty, malty flavours combine for a formidable dance on the palate. A wine of balance, length and finesse, the result of clever, detailed winemaking, which included two barrels undergoing malolactic fermentation.

These old Shiraz vines drive the style with great richness and length of flavour coupled with fragrance and spice. The Cabernet Sauvignon component contributes a layer of structure and texture, perfectly integrated to produce this rare and memorable blend.

From a small block on the family-run Carter Road Vineyard in the heart of Wilyabrup, this wine is a world-class example of how great Malbec can drink on its own. Two trophies and five gold medals are just a fraction of praise for this award-winning wine, matured in larger French oak puncheons (12% new) to ensure perfume and freshness are retained and a silky, dense and refined palate with textural complexity.

This wine achieves the difficult balance of providing a wonderfully complex Chardonnay drinking experience without sacrificing fruit freshness and vitality. As a result, this expertly made wine will be just as rewarding to lay down as its red counterparts. It will very slowly develop more subtle complexities and character for years to come while ensuring fruit and hence regional character is the focal point of the Redbrook Reserve style.

The award-winning 2019 Evans & Tate Single Vineyard Cabernets reflects some of the great Bordeaux-influenced blends. The region’s Mediterranean climate allows the retention of elegance and lovely levels of perfumed fruit and tannin ripeness in these blends. Despite the wine's name, this blend is Merlot-driven, with the grape thriving in 2019. Months in a variety of French oak drives the spicy, fresh, lean and focused profile, the palate encompassing hallmark varietal flavours of dark berry, cedar and choc-vanilla.
