Nose

Aromatically this wine shows bright dark-skinned fruit characters along with hints of spice, cedar and mocha oak notes.

Palate

The palate offers bright red & dark fruit flavours, with hints of espresso, & charred cedary oak. Very fine resolved tannins profile combine with appealing natural acidity to create a supple & juicy wine with great length & intensity.

Harvest

Picked in several batches over 3 days in late
March 2014, with yields between 2.6 to 6.6 t/Ha

Winemaking

A mixture of open fermenters & closed with
cold soak for up to 5 days prior to fermenting. Skin contact ranged between 14 to 33 days according to variety

Aging

14 months in French barriques of which 22% were new
