Nose
Aromatically this wine is brightly fruited showing blue, black & red berry notes, along with hints of salted plum, star anise, cinnamon & espresso.
Palate
The palate also offers an assortment of red & dark fruit, complemented by spice & charred oak characters. A very fine resolved tannin profile combines with appealing natural acidity to create a supple & juicy wine with great length & intensity.

In 2015 from March the autumn weather patterns provided cool overnight temperatures, & this effectively extended the ripening period for red wine varieties, by giving them more time to enhance fruit development flavour profiles, but without excessive sugar spikes. The resulting wines show bright fruit flavours & particularly well resolved tannin profiles.
