Nose

Lifted & complex aromas of white nectarine, fuji apple, & lemon zest complexed by fennel seed, subtle oak spice & toasted almond

Palate

The palate shows great balance between generosity & restraint, juicy lemon citrus to the fore supported by grilled lime & a hint of nougat. The chalky texture creates a feeling of breadth which belies the moreish acidity. A wine of great character, balance & length.

Growing Conditions

A wet winter & spring impacted fruit set, leading to reduced yields. Yet, 2022 was an outstanding vintage. Warm, dry conditions in summer & autumn provided exceptional growing & ripening conditions. Bird pressure was greatly reduced due to strong flowering of native flora. Remarkable quality
