What can we say, 2022 was a winemaker’s dream. Perfect conditions allowed our red varieties to get their mojo going, ripening quickly before some cooler weather. This enabled that much sought after ‘hang time’ creating ripe, plush and dense flavour profiles.
Tempranillo, Sangiovese and Shiraz, hand-picked when
looking lush. Chilled, flipped, tipped and pressed the next day to give a dash of colour. The cloudy pink juice was wild fermented with no additions to ensure nothing but pure fruit.
