Nose

Very typical and intense bouquets, reminds you of an European Merlot with the unique intensity of the Australian sun. Green asparagus nuances typical of Merlot, is complemented with a lovely velvet vanilla. Similar to European Merlot only showing the rich intensity of the Australian climate.

Palate

Complex red berry flavors, rich and intense, living along vanillin finish.
A truly exquisite wine.

Winemaking

Grapes are picked as cold as possible and gently crushed. Fermentation is carried out in small temperature controlled stainless steel open fermenters.
Maceration lasts for 8 to 10 days. This is followed by malo-lactic fermentation and once completed the wine is matured in a mix of French and American oak classic barriques for 6 months.

Appearance

Intense, dark ruby red almost purple, showing the rich and concentrated appearance.

Food Pairing

A wine like this is an excellent accompaniment to red meat and lamb.
To fully enjoy the smoothness and flavors, let this wine breathe for at least 30 minutes before drinking - better if decanter is used.
Serve at 18° - 20°C.
