Nose
A lovely balance of lemon cake, pink grapefruit and stone fruit.
Palate
Supple and succulent. Lemon and white nectarine flavours are
layered with creamy nougat phenolics. Excellent mineral acidity drives a
persistent and refreshing finish.
Growing Conditions
Margaret River again experienced another stella
vintage. Warm, sunny and mild with ocean breeze typified the growing
season. Chardonnay grapes showed truly exceptional bright stone fruit
flavours, natural vibrant acidity and soft fine phenolics.
Harvest
March 2014.
Winemaking
9 months in 40% new French Oak barriques and 60% in one
and two year old French oak barriques.
Appearance
Pale straw green.
