Nose

Aromas of grapefruit, melon and white peach, with hints
of almond and spiced bread. A complex sea air aroma
highlights the terroir of the wine.

Palate

The palate is intense, yet elegant. This wine has great
length and structure with the fruit supported by attractive
and subtle oak.

Growing Conditions

It was an early start to vintage. Winter rains were about average. An
unusually dry hot December and January followed; with only a few
intermittent showers in late January. This led to a promising start to the
vintage. Whites were off early, picked in the cool crisp dawns resulting
in some wonderful fresh and vibrant wines.
