Nose
The nose is beautifully complex with aromas of cumquat, almond biscotti, & sweet spice
Palate
The wine has a fine, creamy mousse & shows generosity balanced by mineral-like acidity. Flavours of lemon & orange zest, wild honey & hazelnut provide allure & complexity
Growing Conditions
Average rains over winter & spring with cool cloudy conditions caused. Summer was warm with no heat spikes & was very dry, perfect for berry development. A particularly strong vintage for Chardonnay
Harvest
100% Chardonnay from our Karridale vineyard, which was hand-picked from a single block (block 1) on 20th February 2023
Bottling
August 2025
Winemaking
The fruit was barrel-fermented in neutral barriques, then left on lees for six months.
Aging
Bottled for secondary ferment in November 2023 & then spent 22 months on lees to facilitate flavour & texture development, before being disgorged in August 2025

Very pale straw in colour
