The cooler vintage leads to a beautiful floral lift of violets, along with bright berry aromas.


The palate is richly textured yet zesty & bright. Intense lemon zest is complemented by a hint of salinity & a roasted almond character from barrel fermentation

Growing Conditions

Average rains over winter & spring but cool cloudy conditions caused reduced fruit set in some varieties. Summer was warm with no heat spikes and was very dry, perfect for berry development. Delayed Marri blossom resulted in some bird pressure which was effectively controlled.


A single vineyard wine unirrigated to this day, the vineyard is certified sustainable by Sustainable Winemaking Australia. The fruit was hand-picked on 3rd March 2023 at 12.0° Bé


The wine was bottled in December 2023


pressed straight to barrel & underwent a wild yeast fermentation, with occasional stirring to build texture. The wine was aged in an older French puncheon & barrique
