Palate

The ripe, rich palate of dark forest fruits is supported with fine grained tannin and acid giving the wine plenty of life creating a long lasting juicy finish.

Harvest

Dry grown and crop thinned to produce the best fruit

Winemaking

Hand picked, hand plunged four times daily during open top ferment. 10% juice drain off to concentrate tannins. Manually basket pressed. Aged in French oak (20% new) for 14 months. Our Malbec is unfiltered.

Roast duck with a sticky star anise and Chinese five spice sauce.
